Natural England is the government advisor for nature conservation in England, and we think people are happier and healthier when they have a good natural environment around them.

The Big Wildlife Garden is a Natural England initiative to encourage people to make the most of their gardens and help more wildlife to live there. We know lots of you love gardening, whether it’s your own back garden, a community space or an allotment. Through the Big Wildlife Garden we suggest things you can do to make your garden better for more birds, beasts and bugs, and more importantly we let you – gardening fans across the country – share advice and your successes with other keen gardeners.
